The other day, after participating in the JR Kyushu Walking that started from Nishi-Kokura Station. After seeing the Kokura Castle bamboo lights, I continued along the course and finished at Chacha Town Kokura in Sunatsu. After that, I headed back to Kokura Station. It was time for dinner, so I decided to have a drink and went to the restaurant below. "11 TAP". Beer Hall that mainly serves craft beer. It is located at the east end of Kyomachi Ginten-gai, near Kokura Station. Actually, I went there once before, about five and a half years ago. [a:https://ameblo.jp/tohmori/entry-12469790191.html] Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, there were business suspensions, so the timing was hard to find, so I finally decided to visit again. It was a Saturday night, but there were empty seats at the counter, so I went there right away. Let's have a drink now. First, try Mojiko Beer's Weizen (300ml, 880 yen, tax included). Although it's an appetizer, the system at this restaurant is to draw lots for 330 yen (tax included) to determine the rank of A, B, or C, and then order whatever you like from the category you won. So, I, who won the C prize, received the stewed meat dumplings, which normally costs 480 yen (tax included). The A prize is quite expensive, but I guess it's hard to win... For dinner, I ordered homemade tartare fish and chips (L size = 6 pieces, 750 yen, tax included). The item that appeared a while later consisted of 6 large pieces of white meat frites and fries underneath. This is quite a satisfying meal. The homemade tartar sauce was also very good and very tasty. We finished off with one more beer, ``BITTER TOGETHER'' from Shiga Prefecture (300ml, 880 yen, tax included). Because it uses a blend of six types of malt, it was a truly complex beer with a variety of flavors. Game 6 of the Japan Professional Baseball Series was being broadcast on TV inside the bar, and I was relaxing and drinking while watching it, but a customer who smoked came to the seat near me...yes, this bar is not a smoking bar. It's OK. Since I don't like smoking, I decided to leave immediately. I think it would be a great restaurant if it was completely non-smoking, or at least completely separated from smoking areas...
