以前と営業形態が変わって残念…
抜群の安定感、の菜好牛
実は、２回目の訪問。
小倉では言わずと知れた、焼き肉の名店「菜好牛」が熟成肉のお店をopenしたとのことで、昨年の７月に初めて訪問し、かなり気に入っていたが小倉から移住してしまったので、なかなか来ることができなかった...というわけで、お店の良さは十分承知で、うれしいうれしい再訪となった。
まず、時間に余裕があったため、予約時間の１０分前くらいに早々とお店に到着。
もちろん、だれもまだ来ていないが、予定通りにお先に一人乾杯とすることに。いつも一杯目はビールにしているが、お店の雰囲気にあわせて泡か白にしようと思い、メニューを見る。泡はロゼしかないとのことで、白ワインのグラスを頼むが、ロゼ以外の泡もグラスで出せるとのお店の計らいで、そちらを注文。これが、すごく美味しく、飲みやすいため、もう一人来たところでボトルで頂くことにした。
適当に飲んでいるところで、だいぶ集合してきたため、メインのニクを注文。やはり、熟成肉は外せないため、人数を考えてかおいしいニクを沢山食べたいだけか、L-boneの850gをいきなりオーダー。さらに赤身やら肉握りやらパスタやら、何を注文したかわからないぐらい沢山。
サイドメニューのコメントは省略させて頂き、熟成肉の到着を待つ。
ついに、来ました。熟成肉達。まず、ニクの香りが全然違う。そして、いままでのステーキの概念を覆すような、濃厚な味わい。アミノ酸万歳！
この、すばらしい熟成肉達に失礼のないように、いつしかドリンクも赤ワインにチェンジしていた、といっても自分でオーダーしているのだが。お肉はそこそこ美味しいお店はあるが、それに見合うワインをセレクトしているお店はなかなか存在しないが、ここは違う。おいしいワインを出してくれたソムリエさんに感謝。
熟成肉、赤ワイン、サイドメニュー、デザートまで満喫し菜好牛の実力を改めて思い知らされ(笑)、とてつもなく満足した久しぶりの小倉訪問であった。
