The main focus is on yakiton, and both the exterior and interior are designed to appeal to the masses. The atmosphere is perfect, with nostalgic background music playing. However, smoking is prohibited. There is an ashtray outside the store. ◇Seating Mostly table seating, with sunken kotatsu seats in the back. The total capacity is about 100 people. ◇Menu composition There is no today's recommended menu, only the regular menu, which is full of unique newspaper-style dishes. The menu includes the signature Yakiton, pork sashimi, horse sashimi, bar-style snacks, speedy menus, small hotpots for one person, rice, fried foods, etc. It is especially wide-ranging and popular. Here is what I ordered. ・Ham and egg fry (380 yen) → Definitely the best of the day!!! I think it's safe to say that it's a low price. A thin batter, typical of bars, with an egg inside the ham. This is perfectly half-cooked! If you eat it while it's hot, this simplicity combined with the cold outside makes it perfectly delicious, except for burns. lol Of course I had it with sauce, but the cabbage that goes with it is good too! Personally, I'd be happy to pay more than 500 yen for more than two per person. lol I also recommend it for those who are tired of ham cutlets (o^^o) ・Yakiton → Before entering the store, I was looking for Yakiton. And when I looked at the menu, I was a little surprised. The reason is that I thought it was a Grilled skewer type... Yes, I'm just kidding. In the end, it was served on a silver plate, but on this day I ordered three types: top tongue (550 yen), belly (690 yen), and white (480 yen). The belly was generous, the tongue was standard, and the white was typical of intestines, but the difficulty of chewing it was a problem. As a creative idea on the part of the provider, the seasonings such as salt, soy sauce, miso, etc. are decided on above each cut, and they are also posted on the menu, so it is nice for customers to be able to enjoy it without overlapping. Another common point is that the degree of doneness is... inconsistent... or something like that. Bitter smile It may be a coincidence! And, the seasonings are all strong, or rather, they feel salty... So, although I wanted alcohol, I found it difficult to finish it halfway through... I ended up thinking that I would have liked the skewers. Well, I guess I'm being over the top by imagining the skewers... But you can eat yakitori in Kitakyushu City, and they even have Hoppy, so that's a good point. ◆Strong points Yakiton is rare in Kitakyushu! They also have Hoppy! On the contrary, they apologized too much and were too humble... so I felt uncomfortable, which made it feel natural...lol Well, maybe it's because I wasn't going around. ◆Summary My personal strategy is to accept it as "this kind of restaurant". That's all there is to it. I've only ever eaten yakiton in Tokyo, so a specialty restaurant in Kitakyushu is rare in a way. Also, since they're part of a group that's part of the same group, even if they have a concept, they could probably put in a little more effort, so I'm looking forward to their growth in the future, and I'll probably go back when I'm hungry. lol Anyway, I'll have lunch and takeaway from tomorrow to get fully prepared.
