当店の存在は開店前から知っていたんだけど、最近このテの中華料理屋多いし、似た感じかなと敬遠した。ただ、ある日「北九州×ラーメン」で未訪問店を検索してみると、当店のジャンルに「ラーメン」が追加されていること判明。中華料理屋や食堂系のラーメンは必ずしも訪問マストと言うわけではないが、西小倉ならバリバリ行動範囲内なので、ちょっと行ってみた。
ラーメンと炒飯、あと1品唐揚げかなにか注文しようかと思っていたが、点心があったので好きなエビ餃子の、野菜入りのものを注文(正式名称失念)。
エビ餃子は、冒頭で書いた「最近多いこのテの中華料理屋」の標準的なクオリティだった。皮に練り込んであるのはほうれん草だろうか。悪くはない。ラーメンについても、同じくこのテの店でよく出る鶏ガララーメン。なにか特徴的なポイントでも書かねば口コミの確度が落ちるのは承知だが、それでも特段の感想が出ない味(苦笑)。
よかったのは炒飯で、食感がフワフワっと極めて軽い。味付けは、これだけはありがちなものではなく滋味あふれる味。味付けについては好みとまでは行かないが、食感の軽さは驚き。最後のほうはかっこむために皿を持ち上げて食べたのだが、この皿がまた軽くて笑った(笑)。
あと書いておくことは何といっても食べ放題があることかな。北九州だと珍しくはないんだけど、隣のお客さんは旨そうにいろんな料理をパクついていて、うらやましい限りだった(僕はこの後また予定があるので食べ放題は断念)。
最後に点数だが、ちょっと値段は張った、夜の単品価格を考慮してのもの。ランチならラーメン+炒飯で700円台だったかな？ちょっと店内の遠いところの壁に貼られていたので見えなかったが、これだったら「安い」のでオススメ。
