Sunday afternoon visit. The Kokura Kita store is a local chicken Cafeterias that has recently opened in various places. Set meal with 3 types of local chicken, breeder chicken, and young chicken. I also ordered Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) set meal, which was not available at the Honjo branch. After a while, grilled vegetables such as meat, cabbage, green pepper, carrots, and bean sprouts were served on a plate. All-you-can-eat rice, pickles, and soup. The sauce is delicious with the same ginger flavor as Honjo. Also available are ponzu sauce, yuzu pepper, grated ginger, and salt and pepper. Yogan-yaki (roasted on a hot stone) is nice and fluffy, with just the right amount of oil coming off. In particular, the breeding chicken is refreshing and flavorful, so I add it separately. There is also a wide selection of snacks on the menu.
