北九州市小倉北区魚町。
北九州には家系ラーメンが根付かない。町中華系の醤油ラーメンと縛りのない豚骨ラーメンが北九州のラーメン文化だからか。そんな北九州に家系ラーメンの新店が誕生。
メニューは大盛ラーメン・中盛ラーメン・小盛ラーメン。トッピングに海苔増し・味付け玉子・ほうれん草増し・細切れチャーシュー・キャベツ・もやし。ご飯単品もあり、麺増しも可能。
今回は中盛ラーメン(880円)をオーダー。麺の硬さ・味の濃さ・油の量を選択可能。初訪店なので全て普通をチョイス。
中盛ラーメン。家系ラーメンの特徴である豚骨醤油スープに鶏油を合わせ、海苔・ほうれん草。麺は中太麺。濃いけど濃すぎずこれならば北九州でも愛されるラーメンになるのではないか。味の濃さや油の量は調節可能だし。ただ麺は好みがわかれるかと。個人的には好みの多加水中太麺だが。
ご飯と合うラーメンを目指している。個人的に思うのは福岡のラーメンって餃子やお酒と合わせることが多い。特に〆文化となると餃子などつまみとなるメニューとお酒でラーメンを待つ。そのラーメンが早々でてくるという流れな気がする。そのため、夜はウケそうにない。ただ昼のガッツリ系ラーメンニーズにはチャンスはありそう。
