Small plate Chinese food in Kumade, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City [a:40004911, Tenma]. [b: Almond tofu is exquisite! ] I had heard rumors about this shop and wanted to stop by. I visited last month. While walking through the Kurosaki shopping district, I headed to the Kumade arcade. I found a shop with a red sign. The monthly limited course is displayed at the entrance, and I decided on it before entering the store. It is a former Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that has been renovated, so all the seats are dug-out type. It seems that there are many reservations, so if you sit at the counter, there will be vacancies. For use by two people. ◆February limited carefully selected course 2,500 yen (from 2 people) - Assorted cold dishes - Shark fin soup with seaweed - Shrimp chili and shrimp Senbei (rice crackers)- Spring rolls and fried shrimp dumplings - Shumai - Steamed chicken wrapped in porpin - Sweet and spicy stir-fried puffer fish - Chinese chimaki - Famous almond tofu ◆All-you-can-drink (1500 yen + course, 120 minutes, whole group, course only) 22 types of beer, Shaoxing wine, fruit wine, shochu, Chuhai (Shochu cocktail), Japanese sake, non-alcoholic beer, and soft drinks. All-you-can-drink included with carefully selected courses. I'm glad that you can enjoy the course and all-you-can-drink without making a reservation. My impressions are just one word, 4000 yen is cheap with this content and all you can drink! ! ! The food is generally above average in taste. The quantity is also sufficient. It has a seasoning that Japanese people like. In the kitchen, the chef was working alone. The owner chef here is a former head chef at Prince Hotel. The waitstaff are mainly female staff. Although there are many customers, the food is served efficiently and there is no long wait for any seat. There are about 10 counter seats and 5 to 6 table seats. All table seats are reserved, and the counter seats fill up quickly. The customer base is wide. At a banquet, it's a course meal, but if you want to have a drink, you can have a plate of your choice. It has a wide range of uses. It's also nice that you can order a variety of different types of Chinese food, even if it's just a single item. Dim sum and other dishes are available from 100 yen per plate. I was looking forward to the almond tofu. It has a firm texture similar to firm tofu and is delicious. Meltingly soft apricot kernels are also delicious, but I've never experienced this texture before. The almond tofu that came with the course was 320 yen for the syrup alone. If you like almond tofu, this is a must-try item! Some people even brought home almond tofu as souvenirs. This is a store I would like to visit again. There is an affiliated parking lot that is free for 2 hours, but it is difficult to find the location, so please contact the store.
