[5 minutes walk from Kurosaki Station] Tombo, a Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) izakaya with the lowest prices in the area and a focus on freshness and handmade food

Meal on weekdays. First visit to udon lunch at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). I like both Sanuki's chewy udon and Fukuoka's funya udon, so I believe that udon restaurants are the least likely to go wrong, especially the bukkake udon and meat burdock tempura. I ordered the Sanuki classic, Chikuwa Isobe Bukkake (660 yen). Does it take time to boil the handmade udon noodles? Despite my unfounded expectations, Chikuwa Isobe Bukkake was served within 7-8 minutes of ordering. The ingredients are freshly fried chikuwa tempura, plenty of chopped green onions, tenkasu, tired kamaboko, and grated ginger. I like green onions, but I hate dry cut green onions. I'm not a fan of adding tempura, so I had high hopes for freshly fried chikuwa tempura, but it was neither good nor bad. On the other hand, the red and white kamaboko, which was supposed to be just average, had a crumbly texture that was surprisingly bad. It was the first time in my life that kamaboko tasted bad. Thank you for the meal.
