This is a restaurant where you can feel the attention to detail in everything from the atmosphere to the ingredients and cooking. The draft beer is Sapporo. The appetizer is steamed daikon radish. It's done carefully, and the food that follows is also exciting. You order from your smartphone. There were times when the connection was lost, but it was quickly restored by scanning the QR code. The sashimi was striped horse mackerel. It was fatty and high quality. I paired it with a dry Shiraka wine, and it was a perfect match! Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) seems to use good chicken, and all the ingredients are good. The shredded texture of the skewer is unusual, but it had a good texture. What was disappointing was that it seemed overcooked in general. The hearts and peaches didn't feel juicy. The best skewer was the tomato cheese bacon. The rich cheese had a deep flavor. The grilled rice Onigiri were also good when wrapped in seaweed. The doneness of the skewers changes depending on the day, so it's hard to say for sure after just one visit, but I got the impression that the prices were a little high for a local Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Kitakyushu.
