This is an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located on the 1st floor of an apartment building on the right hand side, along the old National Route 322 in Kitagata, Kokuraminami Ward, about 25 meters from the Kitakata 2-chome intersection under the urban expressway towards Kitakyushu City University. It is on the right side of Chinese Cuisine restaurant "[a:40037092, Eishokaku]" and diagonally across from the curry house "[a:40003913, Ankuru]". There is a parking lot for 4 cars in front of the store, and there is a wall. There are nostalgic, Showa-era advertising signs pasted on the walls, such as Kintori Mosquito Coil and Oronamin C. At night, it is a popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but at lunchtime it becomes a heart-pounding udon restaurant, and during lunchtime there are banners and banners that say ``Sujiniku Udon.'' I visited on a Sunday around 11:30 noon. There's an L-shaped counter with about 10 seats surrounding the kitchen on the right, and a TV screen on the large wooden parlor on the left with five tables for six people. There were two groups of customers at the table, and we took a seat at the counter near the entrance. Inside the store, there are many posters of Astro Boy and Gekko Kamen that create a retro Showa era atmosphere, as well as photos of Kokura in the Showa era. The lunch menu is placed on the table. "Kake udon small" 400 yen, "Kake udon large" 450 yen, "niku udon small" 650 yen, "niku udon large" 750 yen, "niku udon small" 850 yen, "niku udon large" 950 yen. You can also make ``soba'' for an additional 30 yen. "Mix" is probably a mix of "udon" and "soba." Toppings such as ``Maruten'', ``Goboten'', and ``Onion tempura'' are all available for 130 yen. They also offer ``bukkake,'' which is rare at dokidoki restaurants. "Bukkake Udon (hot/cold) small" 400 yen, "Bukkake udon (hot/cold) large" 450 yen, "Meat bukkake udon (hot/cold) small" 650 yen, "Meat bukkake udon (hot/cold) large" "750 yen, "Meatball Bukkake Udon (hot/cold) small" 780 yen, "Meatball bukkake udon (hot/cold) large" 880 yen, "Meatball bukkake udon (hot/cold) small" 850 yen, " Meat meat bukkake udon (hot/cold) large” 950 yen, “meat meat ball bukkake udon (hot/cold) small” 980 yen, “meat meat ball bukkake udon (hot/cold) large” 1080 yen, and “soba” as well. ' is an additional 30 yen. "Tama" looks like "tempura egg (tamago tempura)" and I ordered "meat ball bukkake (cold) small." The staff consists of the landlady and two young women. On the table, there are grated ginger, hawk nails, soy sauce, and ichimi in Tupperware, but there seems to be no service such as bran pickles, which are a staple at Dokidoki restaurants. You can make your own cold water, and there are cold water pots and cups on the table. It was ready in about 3 minutes after ordering, and the bukkake udon and bukkake soup in a sake bottle were brought to you. Slightly thin noodles with sharp edges are topped with an egg tempura in the center, chunks of beef tendon meat, and plenty of green onions sprinkled all over. I poured the bukkake soup over it and mixed it well with the noodles. Compared to standard udon noodles, the noodles are supple and chewy. If you drink the soup as it is, it will taste sweet and spicy, but when mixed with the noodles, it had just the right amount of seasoning and was delicious. The tendon meat was very tender, and although the seasoning was a little sweet, it had a delicious meaty flavor. I expected the egg tempura to be soft and soft-boiled, but I was disappointed that it was hard-boiled rather than soft-boiled. After tasting it, I added the grated ginger and hawk nails on the table and mixed them together. With the addition of the sharp flavor of ginger and the stimulation of hawk claws, I drank it all down deliciously, including the soup. The amount of tendon meat was more than I expected, but the amount of noodles was small, so I should have paid 100 yen more for a "large size".
