今回のお店は北方駅から徒歩10分。うどん屋なのにたこ焼きや回転焼きもある珍しいお店。また湯切りまで自ら行う純セルフスタイルは福岡では初の経験。一杯270円からというこの辺りでは破格の値段設定だが昔は100円でうどんを提供して100円うどんと呼ばれていた時代もあったとか。天ぷらやおにぎり類の種類が豊富。やや捻れのある自家製麺は中太でムッチリとした弾力と小麦の味わいが気持ち良い。香り豊かな出汁も身体に染み渡る旨さ。年中無休で朝9:00から営業という点も嬉しいポイント。
