A udon restaurant and Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that opened in Shimozone in July 2022. I forgot to ask about the opening date...I visited on July 17th, so I'm sure it will be open before that date. By the way, before our restaurant, we used to serve midoki doki udon at night under the name "Seisei." Dokidoki has a strong image of being in the morning, and there aren't many places where you can eat it at night, so I was hoping there wouldn't be a demand for it, but it might be fine in Kokura, but Shimosone might be too niche. The lack of a parking lot may have been a pain, so the restaurant closed and was renovated as "ICHIRO." It seems that Doki Doki Udon is available only during the day. I use it as Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) at night. The Hormone Teppanyaki was recommended, so that's what I got. The dark soy sauce sauce mixes well and the sake goes well with it. In terms of nuances, it's like the contrast between Ramen and fried Ramen, and offal hotpot and offal griddle. The owner is supposed to be the same person as ``Seisei'' (I've only been there once, so I only vaguely remember). The previous male staff members were no longer present, and in their place were two female staff members (at least one part-time). Although the store has a fairly large capacity, the fact that it is staffed by multiple people as soon as it opens means that they are confident in attracting customers. I wish Seisei all the best in her revenge. I'd also like to see a daytime udon report here, but I'm a night owl so don't expect much from me. I'm looking forward to someone's visit (lol).
