The road heading towards Honami from Iizuka Bus Center is called Miyamachi Street. This shop is located opposite the entrance to Soso Hachimangu Shrine and right next to the entrance to the arcade of Honmachi Shopping Street. During the day, this street is usually crowded with elderly people and elementary school students on their way to and from school, but at night there is a wonderful bar for young people. Furthermore, this building also houses [a:40027753, Bar Check] and Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) [a:40031227, Sukehachi], and as you often see in free newspapers, there is a message that says, ``We will stamp each store, and 3 stores. They also offer stamp cards that say, ``If you enter, you'll get a 1,000 yen discount.'' They seem to be doing a great job. I'll go into the store right away. It was quite busy inside. In addition to a few office workers and couples, there were also groups holding parties in private rooms. It's close to downtown Iizuka, but it's in a different direction from the downtown area, so it's a little difficult to visit for people who just want to take a stroll, but it seems like the promotion is working. I also found out about it through a free paper and joined. I ordered the restaurant's recommended bagna cauda for ¥800. And "Tongue Steak \900". For drinks, I tried white wine instead of beer. The atmosphere was so nice that I thought it was wine instead of beer. The white wine was quite drinkable. You can drink it easily. Recommended as an aperitif. Looking around, it looked like it was being used for a lot of parties and beer was being served. Bagna Cauda has arrived. It is eaten with a special sauce, and it comes in a unique container containing solid fuel that heats the sauce, so you won't get tired of its appearance. The dish is also filled with warm vegetables. In addition to asparagus and broccoli, there are also rare things like warmed tomatoes. Rather, it seems that the ingredients are chosen with more emphasis on the ease of snacking than on the healthiness of vegetables, and non-vegetable items such as shrimp and sausage are also displayed. I guess this is a consideration so that people can pick it up and eat it with their hands. Bagna Cauda sauce has a creamy feel. Normally, the sauce is anchovy-based and has a unique smell, but at this restaurant, the sauce is creamy to avoid that flavor. It just smells like anchovies. They say it's popular with young women, and I agree. There are several pieces of French bread at the end, so it seems like a good idea to add that. This was definitely good. I was alone, but the portion was just right, so if you're coming with more than one person, you might want to order more for each person. I try to order an additional drink, but I don't see many cocktails on the menu. Instead, there are many types of plum wine. Kishu green tea plum wine and Kayuzu plum wine. Apparently, this shop is focusing on plum wine. I immediately ordered Dragon Fruit Plum Wine/Soda for ¥650. What came out was a stylish container that looked like a cocktail. The taste was quite good, with a pleasant sweet and sour taste from the plum wine and dragon fruit. You can drink it easily. And then the tongue Steak began to be grilled. The meat is grilled on a griddle, and the kitchen is really filled with smoke, and the aromatic smell of the meat wafts all the way to the counter. Combined with the sound of meat being grilled on an iron plate, expectations are high. If someone else was ordering meat and I had heard this sound and smell, I would have ordered the meat as well. Then came the tongue Steak. It's very soft and juicy. It doesn't have the hardness that is unique to tongue, so it's very easy to eat. I guess they use a pretty good tongue. I'm very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. This is a very fashionable store for young people. The streets around Honmachi have been getting deserted lately, but I'm glad that such a nice shop is now there. Hopefully, there will be more shops like this, and this street will regain some of its liveliness as before.
