Since I came to Kurume to work on-site, I visited Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Asuka, which was previously recommended to me. I came as soon as it opened at 5pm, and the number of customers coming in immediately showed that it was a popular restaurant among the locals. All of the menu items were low priced, and I ordered two portions each of medium-sized short ribs and top tongue. The quality of the meat was average, but there was a lot of it, and the sauce was delicious, but I felt that the seasoning could have been a little stronger. After that, I ordered two servings of offal, one serving of skirt steak, a large bowl of rice, miso soup, and the new menu item, white senmai sashimi. I was able to fully enjoy the meal at a cost-effective price of less than 3,000 yen per person, even if I had eaten my fill. I want to visit again.
