I dropped into Rokukakudo on a Golden Week evening and found a restaurant with the perfect Spanish bar atmosphere. I popped in right away. I found a table in a small, hideaway-like room at the back. Since I'd come all this way, I ordered a non-alcoholic sour for 500 yen. For food, I decided to choose from the tapas dishes, which are Small dish Spanish dishes. From the menu... I ordered Kiichiro's standard Spanish omelette for 315 yen, rosemary-flavored potatoes for 420 yen, and Spanish-style salad, bagna cauda, for 700 yen. The omelette was like a mille-feuille with about 10 layers. It had a strong potato flavor. I think the eggs and mashed potatoes were mixed well, fried thinly, and layered in several layers. It was my first experience of an omelette made so carefully and intricately, even in Spain. It was delicious. The bagna cauda is especially delicious, with anchovy-flavored sauce. Anchovy paste and garlic are put into olive oil, and warmed over a candle, enhancing the flavor and making it delicious. Green peppers, mini radishes, and cucumbers are served with tap sauce, which goes well together. Rosemary-flavored potatoes, lots of potatoes, and full of olive oil flavor are also great. Stir-fried potatoes are delicious... The female staff were also cute and lovely. On my way home, they saw me off outside, and I was in a good mood as I headed out to the nightlife....
