The rainy season has finally ended in Kurume.This time, the familiar heat wave has arrived every year.I guess it's a hot day again every day.I'm working in the office today, and the weather is sweltering.I met up with a few of my colleagues at the end of lunch time, a 5-minute walk from Nishitetsu Kurume. I've been to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kurume Daisen (Oizumi) for dinner before, but this is my first time for lunch.We were shown to a private room, and for some reason all three of us chose the fried horse mackerel set meal.The first thing that caught my eye was the miso soup. I thought it was seaweed miso soup, but it turned out to be seaweed miso soup (lol), but it was delicious! There were two pieces of thick fried horse mackerel with plenty of tartar sauce, so I wanted one to have a different taste.The Small dish was served with cold tofu and a salad, so it was perfect.
