ウォールデンさんには、8年ほど前、親戚の叔母さんが観光の途中で車で連れて来てくれ、丸太小屋のような外観と、オシャレな店内が印象的で、気に入りました。
そして、今回は私が再訪したいとお願いして、もう一度行ってもらいました。
場所は、車が無いと行けないような所にあります。交通量も多いです。
なので、駐車場は完備で7～8台は停められると思います。
早速中に入ると、ちょっとアメリカンな感じのオシャレなインテリアがパァッと記憶に蘇り、懐かしく感じました。
当時は、2階に服やアクセサリーを販売していたと思うのですが、今は置いていません。
以前来た時と同じく、なかなか繁盛していて、結構席が埋まっていました。
お店の前の看板メニューのケーキセット650円が気になり、それを注文。
飲み物は、ホット又はアイスコーヒー、紅茶のレモンかミルク、それとソフトドリンクから選び、ケーキはショーケースから選びます。
私は、ブルーベリーケーキとアイスレモンティーにしました。
ゆったりとした店内で叔母さんと近況報告をしあって、ケーキを待ちます。
そうして運ばれて来たケーキを一口いただきました。
珍しい味でもケーキでもないけど、お値段に見合った素朴な甘さでした。
アイスレモンティーもスッキリした味わいです。
以前は月曜日が定休日だったそうですが、今は、年末年始が休みに変わり、月曜日の17時以降は喫茶のみになるとの事でした。
素敵なお店で、のんびり出来ました(#^.^#)
