福島市郊外にある「八夢」は、築二百年の古民家を改築した、まさに隠れ家的お店です。
以前、一度だけ仕事の会議＆会食で利用したことがあったのですが、それまでは地元出身なのに全く知りませんでした。
今回は、プライベートでランチタイムに訪問。
和風テイストがベースとなる創作料理コースが楽しめます。
まずここは、ロケーションが素晴らしいんです。
木々に囲まれた、川や池がある日本庭園の中を通ってお店に入るのですが、四季を感じさせてくれる風景が目に飛び込んできます。
今回（11/27）は、色づいた落ち葉もみじの葉が庭中に落ちていて、季節感を醸しだしてくれていました。
今回は、食をじっくりと楽しんでみたいと思い、八夢会席を注文しました。

八夢茶（抹茶）
一品一品の量は少な目ですが、とても凝った料理で、味わい深いものばかりでした。
やはり、場の雰囲気を楽しみ、会話をしながら、ゆっくり・まったりと食事を進める場所です。
実際、結納っぽい雰囲気（両家のお食事会的な感じ）や七五三のお客さんが何組も見られました。
なお、御飯と味噌汁はお替わり自由なので、大食漢の方は、その部分で調整を(笑)！
あとは、スタッフの方の気遣いはレベルが高かったです。
最初にアレルギーを確認したり、女性にはさりげなくひざ掛けを用意。
また、コースの一品を食べ終えるタイミングで、実にスムーズに次の料理が説明付きで提供されてきます。
スタートの和風庭園の外観から始まり、美味しくて新鮮な創作料理に舌鼓を打ち、そして、しっかりとした接客という一連の流れが素敵な空間を創りあげているのだと感心しました。
