◇5 minutes walk from Fukushima Station◇Enjoy fresh ingredients as sashimi or charcoal grilled! Make new friends at the shared tables◎
Sumibi-yaki Kyubei Main Branch is a traditional, homey charcoal grilled Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The tables inside the restaurant are shared. Many people have met here and made new connections. T |
From Koriyama Station to Fukushima Station on the Tohoku Main Line, I took the train to Fukushima Station for the first time in a while. I finally arrived at Fukushima Station, hearing the chorus of toads every time the train doors opened at the stations along the way, and entered the small drinking district that barely existed from the east exit ticket gate side. Since I had no particular destination in mind, I visited Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kyubei, marked by a pink sign, for the first time without a reservation. I sat at a table at the back where a group of middle-aged ladies were drinking and emptying one-liter bottles of sake, and ordered this from the waiter of unknown nationality (*´∀`)つ ◼️Abukuma 2 go A refreshing, dry local sake. The appetizer was chicken wings, sesame sauce, and conger eel nanbanzuke. The appetizer was quite filling, so the food was light. ◼️Sea squirt vinegar Fukushima Station is closer to Miyagi than Koriyama, so the ingredients are also closer to Miyagi. The large cut sea squirts were salty and consistently delicious (゚Д゚) yummy ◼️Mexicali Deep fried maxicali as big as a shishamo. Served with green onions and grated maple leaves, the flesh was soft and fluffy, also (゚Д゚) yummy ◼️Nameko Zosui We finished off with egg zosui containing nameko mushrooms, a Fukushima specialty. The rice was almost as soft as porridge. The flavor was a little light, so we customized it with the maxicali ponzu soy sauce and licked it up. As expected, we ate too much, so we FINN. Thank you for the meal. We paid with our credit card and headed to the hotel.
