ＪＲ福島駅から徒歩で5分ほど、周りをビルに囲まれ
とても食堂とは思えない佇まいです。
かろうじて、「カレーライス」や「ラーメン」といった
派手な幟が、”食堂です”と主張しています。
創業が昭和15年といいますから、もう70年以上経ているので、
店舗は立て替えられているのでしょう。それにしても、店内は
古く、昔の食堂の趣を醸し出しております。
この日食したのは「たんめん￥580」。
５～６分で出て参りました。速攻ですねー。まるで注文されるのが
わかっていたようです。違う料理の他のお客さんのも出るの早いです。
中太のやや縮れた麺はもちもちした食感。
スープは薄味で鉄爺には少し物足りない感じ。バターの風味がありました。
具は野菜類のほか、あさり・エビ・たこ等の海鮮が加わりチャンポンのよう。
これでこの値段とは、驚くべきＣＰの高さです。
お店の前は、かつて福島交通軌道線（路面電車）が走っておりました。
本町電停はこの辺りだったのではないでしょうか？
駅前食堂ならず”電停前食堂”だったのでしょうね…。
