About 10 minutes by car from Iizaka Onsen Station! Fukushima's inner sanctum. A relaxing inn built in the Surikami River basin.
Our hot spring is 100% free-flowing from our own source. While bathing in the skin-beautifying sulfate spring water, you can gaze out at the Surikami River in the clear air. New menu items are constan |
On this day, my wife suddenly said, "Let's go to the hot spring today!" It turns out that you can stay overnight with two meals for only 700 yen! The secret is that the plan is 7,700 yen for one night with two meals, but you can get a 5,000 yen discount with the prefecture resident discount coupon, and you also get a 2,000 yen local coupon, so you can stay for 700 yen after deducting that. Oh, you have to pay the bath tax separately, so the actual price is 850 yen. What an exquisite price setting by the inn. And check-in is from 1pm. When I arrived around 2pm, the parking lot was already half full. It was full before dinner! It was a huge success, which is unthinkable for Anahara Onsen on a weekday. By the way, as for the important thing, the bath is closed from 1am to 5am, but the quality of the spring water is satisfactory as it is directly drawn from the source. The room was a corner room, and I got a room on the first floor, which was closest to the bath. Lucky me♪. For dinner, the main course was swordfish hotpot, which I had never seen before. Sashimi was also included, as well as braised pork (apparently their specialty), squid and carrots, chawanmushi, and pickles. You can have as many refills of rice as you like, so a bowl of rice with the soup from the hotpot and another bowl with the soup was enough to fill you up. The freshly cooked rice was delicious, which was a relief. If you run out of rice, instant noodles and frozen pasta are sold in the lobby, and the microwave is also available, so you should be able to manage. Breakfast was a twin-pot set, which was quite normal. Somehow, I felt like I got a great deal. The hot springs here are pretty good, so even if the prefecture resident discount is no longer available, I'd like to come again if there is a more affordable plan. Thank you for your help.
