Located in the shopping district of Hobara-cho, Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) has been around for quite some time. It is located on the second floor of an apartment-like building, down an alley between "Hobara Cafeterias" and "Hinomaru-tei". It has a chic and calm atmosphere, and is a nice place to go for drinks. Each table can be covered with a noren, so it's nice to have a private room. It was a weekday, but I came here to order the all-you-can-drink course menu. I'm not sure of the price, but I think it's probably around 4,000 to 4,500 yen. There are two all-you-can-drink courses, 1,000 yen and 1,500 yen, because the quality of the shochu and sake increases. The menu for this day was sashimi, salad, Fried food, grilled scallops, chicken stewed in tomato sauce, bread and cheese, diced Steak, and pilaf. The sashimi was a simple lineup of tuna, salmon, sea bream, and octopus. The salad was mizuna with lettuce and bacon in a Japanese dressing, and the fried Fried food was potato, fried oysters, and fried shrimp with heads. The overall impression was that the food was more focused on quantity than quality. There was nothing that really stood out, but I got the impression that there was a wide variety of average dishes. There was a good selection of sashimi and Fried food, but very few diced Steak, and the main dish was mostly bean sprouts (lol). Bread and cheese is quite a rare dish at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) σ(^_^;) You can also order stronger drinks, which is very reasonable. The glasses turn over quite quickly. However, it's a shame that the draft beer is a little lukewarm at times. It's not a place to relax and enjoy good drinks and food, but I think it's just right for a party or other lively drink. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is a reliable Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that I often visit, even though there are now many chain izakayas.
