磐梯熱海の温泉街。
大衆食堂といった雰囲気です。
居心地も悪くありません。
地元密着型の「そば食堂」といったところでしょうか。
まず、「そば」と「うどん」の種類の多さに驚かされます。
いきなり迷ってしまいます。（汗）
無難なところで「ざるそば」を注文。
挽きぐるみの手打ち蕎麦。
雰囲気的には猪苗代の蕎麦に似ているとおもいます。
何故か、「曲げわっぱ」のような器に蕎麦が盛られてきます。
やや細めの平打ちの麺線。
「乱切り」の蕎麦です。
手切り感があり、角が立っている。
つゆは甘口。
薬味もパッとしません。
経験上、これで蕎麦が美味しいというのは在りえないはずなのですが。
一口啜ってみると、意外に美味しい。
喉越し。
香りと甘み。
鼻に返る戻り香。
蕎麦自体の味は美味しいとおもいます。
何故そうなのかは私には分かりません。
日本蕎麦という「食」も本当に奥が深いですね。
