I want to eat meat!! Let's go to Yakiniku (Grilled meat)! (^^)! I thought I'd try a different Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant than usual... I went to Gyukaku. I had visited before, but it was full and there was a long wait, so I gave up... I visited a little after opening time. Even so, there were quite a lot of customers. Is it because it's a chain restaurant and it's cheap? Is it popular with families and young people? Anyway, I ordered a draft beer and my partner a highball. While the beers were arriving, I looked at the menu to see what to eat (*'▽') When the beers arrived, we ordered * Marbled top-grade salted tongue, 1,280 yen * Thick-cut kalbi, 550 yen * Skirt steak, 550 yen * Kimchi platter, 490 yen * Lettuce set, 490 yen * King oyster mushrooms, 290 yen. And, cheers!! The beer was delicious. The top-grade salted tongue was thick-cut, so we cut it into bite-sized pieces with kitchen scissors!! I tried it with wasabi and lemon. It was delicious! The thick-cut kalbi doesn't have to be so thick! The skirt steak was normal. The lettuce set had lettuce, shiso leaves, and green onions. It was rolled up with kakuteki and onion chips, and the green onions were a nice accent (*'▽') I ordered another draft beer, and my partner ordered a sour. *Gyukaku Kalbi 590 yen *Sangenton Kalbi 490 yen *Aged red meat top misuji 790 yen. I love pork!! This is better than the thick-cut kalbi! The top misuji was a bit questionable... I cut the draft pineapple sour in half and squeezed some pineapple into it (lol). In the end, I had three draft beers and one sour, and my partner had three highballs and sours, and all of this came to 9,190 yen. Meat is cheap. It's not that the food was particularly delicious, but the staff were quick to take away the empty plates, and even asked if we wanted to replace the grill without us even asking. The staff were all really active!
