At night, it becomes Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Please refrain from bringing children under school age into the restaurant as this is a drinking venue. |
This is a so-called soba Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). I would like to go to soba restaurant sake during the day, but unfortunately it is only available during lunch time. Speaking of Shirakawa, it is known throughout the country for its local Ramen, but it is also an area that originally had a food culture of soba. It wouldn't be strange if there was at least one store with this type of format. The buckwheat flour used is Dewakaori from Yamagata. Stone-ground, handmade soba from Nihachi. There are many types of soba for a service lunch at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). A variety of ``seiro'' and ``chilled'' dishes. There is even ``cold meat soba''. There are also plenty of set menus with Ten-don (tempura rice bowl), clam rice, and yam rice. It was my first visit to this restaurant, but I dared to order the ``chilled nameko grated''. Flat noodle strings often seen in Shirakawa. The light color of the soba soup is unique. The taste of the soup is quite dry. Since it is served cold, I feel that the flavor of the soba is lost to the soup. I also tried Mori Soba with my companion, and although the noodle strings were strong, I think the soba flavor was weak. There may also be a timing effect. I looked at the evening menu listed in the menu, and it seems to consist of standard Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) dishes such as sashimi, grilled foods, Fried food, and salads. Standard side dishes for soba restaurants include dashimaki tamago, wasabi, grilled duck, and grilled miso, but this is Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. As expected, it doesn't seem to be that much of a maniac store.
