会津若松市にある食堂。
その名の通り、若松城の入り口の側に位置する。
昔ながらの日本の食堂、といった雰囲気で、小上がり席と、テーブル席がある。
店頭でも、テイクアウト用の団子等を販売している。
ソースカツ丼は、当店が提供する丼物の1種。
会津名物らしい。
丼に白米を盛り、その上に刻みキャベツを乗せ、味噌ソースに潜らせた豚カツをトッピング。卵は一切使っていない。
カツに使われている味噌ソースは甘めで（味噌おでんで使われていたのとほぼ同じらしい）、ますます通常の豚カツとは異なる味わいをもたらしている。カツはそれなりのボリュームがあり、食べ応えが。
味噌汁、漬物、ポテトサラダ付き。
ソースカツ丼は、全国的に見ると必ずしも珍しくはないが、その内容は地域ごとに異なるらしい。
