This is a new restaurant on Sengoku-dori, or rather Odabashi-dori. It is located near the remains of the Odayama gun emplacement, where the Western Army (during the Boshin War or Aizu War) fired cannons (concentrated fire) at Tsuruga Castle. The location used to be where a national chain of Okonomiyaki restaurants was located. Yuzuan gives the impression of being a restaurant that only offers all-you-can-eat meals at a fixed price, but it seems that they also offer a set menu of a la carte lunches, so I visited this time (^^) ・The lunchtime-only (100 minutes) ¥1,980 course seems to be the best option. Because of this, it gets quite crowded at lunchtime (groups of pensioner aunties and young ladies, and there are not many men, or rather, I'm the only one). I'm old, so I won't go for the all-you-can-eat option. ◆Shokado Lunch (¥980 excluding tax) It looks gorgeous. The tempura of the flounder and other fish is very small, and it's a bit sad that there is no sashimi. However, Small dish of beef sukiyaki tofu and mini chirashi Sushi with crab and salmon Udon-suki sukiyaki made with seafood and whole chicken soup is surprisingly tasty. If you scoop out the shrimp roe and boil it, the flavor improves considerably and it was delicious ♪ Also, if you feel like the amount isn't enough, you can order additional nigiri (Sushi) in units of two pieces (on the touch panel). Because of this, I get the impression that Yuzuan is a casual place to go even if it's not an all-you-can-eat option (which is quite a bargain).
