This time I will be traveling to Gifu and Aichi. The reason why I came all the way to Gifu from Hokkaido is because of this store. We will create an itinerary that matches the restaurants open on weekends and make reservations online three months in advance. Speaking for myself, I first wanted to come to this store 5 years ago. Mr. Nakagaki from Barossa was giving a commentary at a certain cocktail competition, and I remember that the content of his review was extremely easy to understand, and that I strongly sympathized with his evaluation. After that, the Alchemier Tatsumi Distillery, which became a gin and absinthe distillery that was all the rage in Gifu, produced gin supervised by Mr. Nakagaki, and I was very impressed with the taste. When I asked Mr. Nakagaki what kind of person he was, I learned that he was a famous bartender, and I had always wanted to visit him. On that day, I went to LONG GOOD, a distillery run by Mr. Nakagaki in Kawaramachi near the Nagara River. The name plate of Sapporo's tequila master Alcozy is displayed here. There are three types of 350ml cans of gin and tonic on sale here, which are often given as souvenirs. When I visited the store later, I heard that they were also impressed with the liqueur, which made me even more excited about the future. Well, the introduction is quite long, but we have arrived at the store. It's a small shop run by a couple, and what's unusual is that the shop's single window can be opened and closed. The conversation was easy and interesting, and he also talked in detail about bars in Sapporo. I was unable to go to Sapporo to give a lecture due to the coronavirus pandemic, so I am looking forward to the next opportunity. Today I ordered the prix fixe cocktail course. Request this course (3 cups for 5,000 yen) when making a reservation in advance and choose from the menu on the day. The menu is divided into three types, with the first page having a lower alcohol content and the second half having a higher alcohol content. If you order one cup at a time, it seems to be a good balance, but of course you can order whatever you like. Masu. This time I ordered (sorry, I can't remember the name) Sauvignon Blanc (1st one) I chose it because it uses my favorite Taiwanese oolong tea. This is an early work that attempted to recreate drinks that were popular overseas in cocktail form. You said it was full of tsukkomi now, but it's certainly a cocktail with a complex flavor that gives you the atmosphere of Sauvignon Blanc. Gin Basil Smash (2nd photo) A cocktail that was popular in Germany. I love basil and gin, so of course this is my favorite cocktail. I liked it so much that when I returned to Sapporo, I asked a bartender of my class to make this cocktail for me. Cocktail made using Negroni as a base (3rd photo) This is a cocktail made for me after I told him that I like Negroni. I Other ordered a peach nectar and a real Chocolate martini since there was plenty of space. All of the cocktails exceeded my expectations with interesting flavors, mouthfeel, and beautiful appearance. I can't help but want to visit you again.
