インド料理のお店にやってきました。
あ、インド・ネパール料理だっ！
店内に入りますと、独特のネパールの国旗が貼ってあります。
テーブルとテーブルの間が広く間隔をとってあります。
カップルセットを注文いたしましょう。
カレーはメニューの中のどれでも選ぶことができます。
野菜のカレー、豆のカレー。
チキンのカレー、ひき肉のカレー。
マトンのカレー、シーフードのカレー。
それぞれにたくさんの種類のカレーがあります。
カレーは、豆のカレーとバターチキンにしました。
まだまだメニューを見ていますと、ネパール餃子というのがありまして、食べたことがないので注文してみました。
カップルセットには、タンドリーチキンとフィッシュティッカとスパイシーチキンがついています。ドリンクは何がいいかと聞かれて、選択肢の中にフリードリンクがあったので、それにしてしまいました。
まずは、ドリンクを取りに行きます。オレンジスカッシュにしました。
サラダが来ました。ドレッシングが甘い感じでした。テーブルの上の辛いスパイスをぱらぱらっとかけていただきます。
焼き物が三種類鉄板の上にのってやってきます。どれも、穴が開いております。串に刺してタンドリーで焼いているのでございます。
スパイシーチキンは胸肉っぽいですが、このような焼き加減だと胸肉でもいいもんだなとおもいます。
タンドリーチキンってどの店でも赤いのですが、どんな香辛料を使っているのでしょうか？
カレーとナンとチーズナンが来ます。
チキンカレーを中辛、豆のカレーを辛めでお願いしましたが、辛さはの違いは判りません。ある程度以上の辛さだと同じに感じるのかな？
どちらもよく煮込んだカレーで、いろんなスパイスを使っているのでしょう。それにどちらも甘みがあります。
ネパールの餃子が来ます。小籠包ぐらいの大きさで、蒸し餃子です。皮がもちっとしていて、中の具が肉を主体に作ってあってうれしいです。
ナンがでかいっ！ そして、甘みがあります。
チーズナンもかなりの大きさと厚さです。
パンピザのような厚みで、二枚重ねの何の間にチーズが挟まっていて、ピザのように放射状に切られています。持ち上げますとトローリとチーズが伸びます。そして甘みがあります。
この甘味がこのお店の特徴なのかな？
ナンのほうが食べ放題なのでおかわりでもしようかと、注文時には考えたのですが、この大きさの何とチーズナンを半分いただきますと、ずいぶん満腹になりました。
デザートにマンゴーソースをかけたアイスクリームで締めくくりです。
