Today's year-end party was at a samgyeopsal restaurant near Gifu Station with people I used to work with at the Gifu branch. It's been almost 20 years since I last worked with the same perspective, so everyone's got a lot of weight, their hair is gray, and they're all really shabby. Today, Mr. Takuhaya arranged for us to have all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat for 3,500 yen with a limited menu. I wonder if the chives and pancakes are frozen. Samgyeopsal is quite thick so it takes a long time to cook. However, if you overcook it, it will become hard, so timing is difficult. In Korea, an auntie would come out at just the right time and do a little bit of work with scissors, but here at the store, you have to do it yourself, so it's a pain. Also, because there are so many customers, there are not many staff, so we recommend ordering early.
