約2年ぶりの訪問です。
岐阜県御嵩町の山奥にある人気ケーキ屋の「ラ プロバンス」さん。
皆さんも書いておられるように、「本当にこんなとこにあるの？」と心配になるような山道を走っていきます。
お店は駐車場からやや登るので、かかとの低いものがオススメ。
階段を登っていく右側には雑貨屋さん。
お店の南斜面にはハーブやお花の畑。
まるでフレンチレストランのような接客をなさるオーナーが満面の笑顔で迎えてくれます。
この日頂いたのは「サバラン」と「チーズタルト」
「サバラン」は甘さもラム酒も控えめな上品なお味。
「チーズタルト」もほろっと崩れるようなタルト生地がとても美味しかったです。
前回は雪の中の夕方の訪問でしたので、薪ストーブに火が入っていました。
飲食店でガスレンジのことを「ストーブ」と呼びます。
それは昔厨房はこのような薪ストーブの上で鍋やフライパンの調理をし、その下のオーブンで焼き物をしていた名残り。
ここのストーブは調理ストーブを客席で使っておられました。
多治見、土岐には陶器を買いに行くのでその際にはまた寄せて頂きたいと思っています。
