Today we went a little further afield and went on a lunch tour to Akechi-cho, Ena City. The place I headed to was ``AOZORA BASE''. The location is a little off the Toyota Akechi Line heading towards Taisho Village. This is in front of the nursing care facility "Himawari". This is a cafe started in Ena, his hometown, by the owner who trained as French cuisine chef in Tokyo. It's only been open for a little over a year. Lunch on holidays is Hamburger and homemade pizza. The selling point here is the "Pork Burger", which uses pork from Miura Chikusan, a pig farm at the foot of Mt. Ena.The lineup is: -Honey black pepper (¥880) -Tomato (¥880) -Foie gras SP (¥1650) Today: The top menu item ``Honey Black Pepper'' will be served with a drink potato set (¥500). The Miura pork is said to be fed Amakusa, which is used to make agar, and is juicy and very tender. The pork is sweet and very delicious♪ ``Isn't it a waste to just have Hamburger?'' I asked the manager, and he said, ``On weekdays, we also have a one-plate lunch.'' It seems that it is so popular that they can't keep up with the supply. Because of the large number of customers who have to wait, the opening hours will be changed to 11:30 a.m. starting in July. Instead, plate lunches are available on Saturdays and Sundays as well. (Basically, reservations are required) There is also a course, so touring has become even more fun. I will stop by again when I come here. Thank you for the meal♪

Today is my first day off in a while. Since the weather was so nice, I decided to take some time to go for a lunch drive. This is aozora kitchen where I headed. This is French cuisine restaurant and cafe located in Akechi-cho, Ena City. The pork burger I had before was very delicious, so I decided to come back. At that time, I asked the manager about the one-plate lunch, and he said that on Saturdays and Sundays, you won't be able to eat it unless you make a reservation, but today was a weekday. I was able to go at the right time. The menu is as follows: - Young chicken Steak (¥1210) - Sea bream poaret (¥1210) - Miura pork saute (¥1810) Today, we will have sea bream poaret as a set (¥520) that comes with soup and drink. The first soup that came out was Beni Haruka potage from Kagoshima Prefecture. It's a sweet potato soup ♪ The sea bream poare has lots of sauces such as tomato, basil, balsamic and mustard mayonnaise! The portion was a bit small, but it was an elaborate dish♬ Next time I come, I'll try the pork saute! Thank you for the meal♪
