The restaurant is busy during lunch hours as well. From the looks of it, there doesn't seem to be any Japanese staff. But everyone is good at Japanese. It was probably originally a soba restaurant or Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) or something. It's quite surreal that an Indian Curry restaurant has a tatami room. I ordered a Thai curry lunch, and it was incredibly smooth. Honestly, it looks quite different from the photo. (It just looks like miso soup...) It tasted like curry, but it was quite salty and the lemongrass and coconut milk flavors I had imagined were muted. It tasted a little different from the "Thai curry" I'm familiar with. The naan is fluffy and delicious. All you can eat during lunch time. All-you-can-drink drinks are also available. I was happy to have lassi. It was a little different than I expected, but I think it's worth 750 yen.

A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic naan and curry prepared by an Indian chef at an affordable price.
It is popular among people of all ages, from young people to the elderly, especially women. There is a large parking lot and many customers takeaway. This shop is often used by people who are touring |
This is my first visit in several years. Despite the coronavirus, the store was very busy as it was Golden Week. Personally, I get the impression that it's arranged to suit Japanese tastes rather than being ``authentic''. Reflecting on my first visit to Indian Cuisine where I ordered a Thai curry and complained that it was different from what I expected, this time I ordered a spinach cheese curry with the intention of having the North Indian classic palak paneer. It was different than I expected. (Although it's literally "spinach curry" with "cheese"...) India is a large country, so I'm sure there are many different recipes. The naan is sweet, fluffy and delicious as always. I should have ordered from the lunch menu, but I was told that there was a charge for hot chai. I wish they would have removed it from the menu. . .
