竜神の滝を見学した帰り、中津川市の国道19号線沿い「手打ちうどん たから」で手打ちうどんを頂きました。

○特製鍋焼きうどん1030円
訪問歴ある恵那市の「たから」は当店の暖簾分け、こちらが元祖たからになります。
たからのうどんは極太麺で長さは二尺、約60cmで麺量はかなり多め、ざるうどん並でも一般的な大盛りに近いボリューム。
一見、伊勢うどん風に見えますが食感は違い、鍋焼きやかけ等の温かいうどんが柔らかめでフワフワ食感に対して、冷のざるうどんは表面はふんわりしていても芯はモッチリ低反発の弾力強め。
温と冷で食感の違いが一般的なうどん以上に楽しめます。
風味こそ違いますが、東濃地区では多治見市にある有名店の元祖香露うどん似。
うどん(麺)の見た目と芯のモチモチ食感は似ているように思いました。
