下呂駅のまん前に構える和菓子屋さん
栗きんとんと言えば「おせち」をイメージする方は多いのではないでしょうか。
でも、このあたりでは栗きんとんはおせちではなく和菓子なのです
そんな和菓子栗きんとんが食べられるお店「仁太郎」
いくつかお気に入りがありますがそのなかでも私のオススメが
柿の雫と竹取の翁です。
柿の雫は干し柿の中に栗きんとんを挟んだもので、柿の甘みと栗の甘みがマッチしてとても上品な味になっています。お茶にとてもよく合います
今日は茶道のお菓子ということで竹取の翁を買って行きました。
竹取の翁はくずの中に栗きんとんが入っているんですが、竹の皮で包んで蒸されているとのことなので
くずにも竹の香りが残っているんです。いい香りでほっとしますよ
ここの和菓子はお持ち帰りやおつかいによく使われます
おせちではない栗きんとん、おひとつどうぞ。
