Saturday, September 9, 2023 8:40pm After work, I went to the 1 yen pachinko parlor! I won about 5 times the amount of change I lost last week. So, I went to Maebashi again, just like last week. And the parking lots in the city were full again. I parked in Maebashi Central Parking Lot and walked about 500m! I went to Shindo-Funi, located on the first floor of Joto Parking in Joto-cho, Maebashi City. A colleague from work often comes to this restaurant, and he told me that if I wanted to eat Korean food in the Maebashi area, this was the place to go, so I came here. I entered the restaurant, took off my shoes, put them in a bathhouse-style shoe locker, was shown to a table, looked at the menu, and ordered an appetizer for 400 yen, seared marbled wagyu beef for 1,780 yen Cold Noodles noodles for 1,480 yen, for a total of 3,660 yen. First, the appetizers were bean sprout namul and fried tofu. The bean sprout namul was just the right amount of spicy. And the fried tofu! I thought it had a great texture. I would like to order this fried tofu as a single item. Next, I ate Cold Noodles...the symphony of beef bone soup, water kimchi blend, kimchi, and spicy miso was amazing! The staff told me to be careful because the spicy miso was spicy, but it matched the soup so I didn't mind the spiciness. Another thing was that the piece of chili pepper was said to be extremely spicy, so I gave up. Cold Noodles were seriously delicious. Next, I ate the grilled marbled wagyu beef...it was wagyu beef that was just one step away from melting in my mouth! It was a great dish, with great seasoning, and the best Korean Cuisine. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.
