日曜日の昼時11時30分に単身伺いました。
車は敷地内にある地下駐車場に置き、エレベーターで１階のお店へ。
暖簾をくぐると、出迎えてくれ、靴を脱ぎカウンター席に案内されます。
靴は帰る時にはまた出しておいてくれます。
カウンター席に先客２、他にテーブル席に数組、会食で利用のお客さんなど。
帰る頃には個室やテーブル席、カウンターもほぼ満席になっていました。
読売の情報誌で「おさかな料理」の特集で紹介されていましたが、気分はお肉だったので、注文は「仙台牛黒毛和牛ロース 炭火ステーキ御膳 100g (1,980円・税込)」です。焼き方はミディアムレアで。
御膳には「ご飯・お吸物・手作り豆腐・サラダ・小鉢・漬物・ドリンク」がセットになります。
カウンターはＬ字に厨房を囲む造りになっていて、マスターがご飯の盛りを「ちょっと大盛りにしときますか？」と聞いてくれます。気さくな人柄で安心感があります。
10分強でお料理が提供されます。
お肉はブロックのまま炭火でじっくり火を通し、余熱で中心までほんのり熱を通しています。
外側が香ばしく焼きが入っていて、中央は赤く肉々しい色合いです。
スライスした肉を焼けばもっと和牛の柔らかで脂身の甘さが味わえるのでしょうが、どちらかといえば肉の赤身の旨味を味わう調理法です。
ソースとワサビとおろしで味わうことができますが、おろしが一番合っていました。
手作り豆腐もクリーミーで美味しかったです。
今度は海鮮を頂いてみようと思います。
