Tuesday, January 22, 2019 21:30 Today, after work in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, I stopped by the Ougiya Isesaki Miyako store in Miyako-cho, Isesaki City for my first two-day weekend in a while. The parking lot can accommodate about 20 cars. When I entered the store and took a seat at the counter, a female staff member checked to see if I had arrived by car and said that the driver would serve oolong tea, so I asked for one. A pitcher of oolong tea and a medium mug of ice arrived right away. There's enough space for two medium mugs! Not only is there no appetizer, but it's a great service! So, I looked at the menu and ordered: Tomato Slice 290 yen + tax Parinko Cheese 330 yen + tax Legendary Yakitori 2 pieces 120 yen + tax Grilled skewer Seven 7 pieces 777 yen + tax Fried Skewers Assortment 5 pieces 680 yen + tax Total 2376 yen Did. The delivery time is so fast! The amount of tomato slices is a bit small. Parinko cheese is also small, but it might be cheaper! It’s freshly fried and delicious! Next, we had the legendary yakitori...it was very cheap at 120 yen + tax for two, but the grilling was sweet and the texture was bad! Next, I had Grilled skewer Seven... The grilled shito peppers, green onions, and quail eggs were sweet and had a bad texture! It's sad considering the sign says it's a yakitori restaurant! Next, we ate Fried Skewers...The first fried onion Fried Skewers had a bad texture, but Other Fried Skewers were really delicious! Thank you for the meal.
