A legendary Chinese Cuisine restaurant that satisfied the hunger of the next generation of young people in Takasaki. This is the restaurant that Toryu's Niku Miso Ramen brought back to life. Rakuko Aki Gunma really likes four-character kanji, like Sara Eibo and Coffee Philosophy lol I've been here before for drinking parties, but this is my first time visiting for lunch. Did this restaurant even have a counter? I thought about this as I entered. The second floor and private rooms are closed, and only the counter in front of the kitchen is set up. Ah, before this place there was a lot of stuff on it, but this was the counter. Water and chopsticks are self-service. There are only two types of menu, Niku Miso Ramen and Shoyu Ramen. I missed the fact that rice was 200 yen. Of course I ordered Niku Miso Ramen. It seems that the old man is the only one who runs the place from 12 to 14 o'clock. I waited a while in front of the counter lined with glasses of plum wine. The old man was shaking a wok in the back. The food was served in about 10 minutes. It was a cup of nostalgic sweet aroma of miso. A simple Ramen with only cabbage and pork. Let's start with the meat miso on top. Wow, the miso they use is definitely almost the same as that of Toryu. I've only had it a few times, but the taste of the miso still reminds me of it. I wonder if it's the same miso? The cabbage is big and hard to eat lol Was Toryu's also this big? I remember it being a little more bite-sized and easier to eat. Medium-thin curly noodles in chicken bone soy sauce soup. Damn, I can't remember the noodles at all lol If anyone remembers what the noodles were like back then, please let me know lol And then, I was given a flavor-changing item like a universal shichimi pepper on the way. I don't think they had this in the store back then, but it goes really well with it lol The mild chicken bone miso is paired with a spicy kick of universal shichimi pepper. What is this, it's so well-made that I want to take it home with me. I'm more fascinated by this universal seasoning than the meat miso Ramen lol It was quite a bowl. I'd like to hear the opinions of Toryu's meat miso enthusiasts. Thank you so much lol
