I visited the restaurant alone at 12:40pm on a Friday. I parked my car in the parking space in front of the restaurant and went inside. The restaurant was about 40-50% full. The system of this restaurant is to put various side dishes and prepared foods on a tray as you like and pay at the end. I was looking for the summer-only menu "Summer Vegetable Curry (820 yen, tax included)", so I told the staff member over the counter my order, paid, and sat at the counter seat facing me. Water is self-service, and when you're done eating, you have to take your tray to the return counter. I hope that it feels like a good deal, but I don't think 820 yen for a single curry is that cheap. The curry is brought to my seat in about 5 minutes. I asked for a large portion of rice when I ordered, but the amount didn't seem that much. Deep-fried eggplant, pumpkin, paprika, and okra are placed on top of the curry. The colors are beautiful and add to the flavor. The curry is medium spicy with a lot of spices. However, perhaps because the vegetables were topped on the curry, the roux itself had almost no meat or vegetable flavor or richness. Still, if I were to try to make the same thing at home, it would take a lot of work to deep fry the vegetables, so I would rather eat it at a restaurant. I had a curry that made me feel like it was summer. Thank you for the meal.
