高崎駅東口から徒歩9分の「霜田」さんです。高級感あふれる店内です。割烹料理屋さんですね。あまり割烹料理を食べたことはないですが、接待でお邪魔しました。
店内は和風そのもの。壺とかがあります。今回はカツ丼になりました。高崎市内では「栄寿亭」の右に出るカツ丼はありません。ですが、今回は接待でカツ丼を食べざるを得なかったのです。取引先の社長夫人が「ここのカツ丼が絶品でねぇ」などと言うが故、私としては魚料理が食べたいなと思っていましたが、どうにもこうにも食べたいものが選べず食べざるを得なかったのです。まったく余計なことを言うなぁと皆一堂に不満でした。支店長がカツ系全般が大嫌いなのに、取引先の社長夫人がそういうものだから「私はカツ丼に目が無くて！」などとヨイショしていました。今回はそういう経緯でカツ丼を食べました。
到着しました。ご丁寧なカツ丼です。なんと！味噌汁まで付いてきます！！これは栄寿亭では味わえない感動でした。すごい。これはすごいですね。オトクです。お肉も柔らかく、たれも実にご飯と合います。美味しいです。お店に罪はありません。悪いのは取引先の社長夫人。
食べ終えて、爪楊枝で歯をシーシーしながらよく考えると、味噌汁は付いていたけれど値段相応な気がしてきました。そうだよ。価格帯が違う。お茶も熱々で美味しかったです。実に上品なお店で感動しました。美味しかったのでまた訪問したいと思います。ごちそうさまでした。
