I finally found something that might be delicious!
We came again. Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King. My daughter is always delighted. The speed at which she gobbles down her rice is different! However, I can't help but feel like I'm being tricked, wondering, Where is this meat from? How has it been softened? It's not that great, but my daughter is happy and it's easy to eat. Lol My daughter has always chosen salted tongue, always salted tongue. It's pork though. I think to myself that real salted tongue is much more delicious, but every time the salted tongue comes as an appetizer, I think, "Huh? It's pretty delicious." Lol In our house, on the other hand, we've been eating salted tongue for a long time, and I've been eating only thick chunks of King ribs, but I've found a meat that might be just right. It's seared belly ribs. It's thin, but it feels like I'm eating more meat than meat that comes in chunks! The taste of the sauce still makes you want to eat more rice, but from now on, this might be my only choice! By the way, my daughter always eats the salted tongue, but instead of continuing to eat it with lemon juice, she starts dipping it in the sauce halfway through. LOL And, maybe they're having a camping food campaign at the moment, so they also had roasted marshmallows. Oh! This is it! I thought, and ordered it, but on Yakiniku (Grilled meat) stove, they didn't cook as well as I thought they would. LOL The surface was just a little thin and gooey. LOL And, since I didn't expect it to be so popular, I finally downloaded the app. Maybe you get coupons, and if you use it multiple times, you get promoted and get a discount? I've already lost out about five times. LOL
Hmmm... I have to say, "Wow!"
Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King again today! When I ask my daughter, "What shall we have for dinner tomorrow?", this is the first place she brings out. And she has been looking forward to it since the day before. As expected... Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King. Just like King. Speaking of which, there is a restaurant called Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Monster in Takasaki. King vs. Monster. It's like Godzilla vs. Kong. Lol. We always have the King course. And we pretty much always order the same thing: tongue (it's pork), king ribs, and pickled skirt steak. Until now, my daughter has preferred plain salted tongue, but this time she may have been awakened to the deliciousness of salted tongue with green onions. For some reason, the meat here doesn't give me the satisfaction of eating meat, especially the thin meat. The thick meat is just about chewy. However, although it says that the thick meat is "tenderized," no matter how long you cook it, it stays tough, and it's hard to tell when it's cooked properly... That's what I think every time. There's no "damn, I overcooked it!" No matter how long you cook it, it's like rubber. Also, the thick kalbi smells like skirt steak every time, but I wonder if it's just my imagination... Still, the sauce is delicious, so it goes well with rice and fills you up. Haha. The side dishes, such as kimchi and soup, are also surprisingly good! I have to say that. Mmm. As expected. Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King is great.
King tour! Lol
The other day, I went to Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King in Ashikaga, and although it was delicious, I was a little dissatisfied, but my daughter was very satisfied, so we decided to go again in our hometown of Takasaki. I made a reservation through the app, but it was still extremely crowded. The parking lot was almost full, and there was a staff member standing there organizing the injections. Since we had made a reservation, we were shown to our seat in less than five minutes. Last time, we ordered the premium course, and the tongue was only thick-sliced, so this time, the middle King course had tongue salt and tongue salt with green onions, so we tried that. You can only order two servings of meat at a time, but this time we ordered twice, so we were used to ordering, and we ordered a lot. After the tongue salt as an appetizer, we ordered tongue salt with green onions, and then we wanted to eat a chunk of meat, so we ordered skirt steak in a pot, large loin, and chunks of kalbi. Mmm. It's still delicious. The sauce is also exquisite. It goes well with rice. However, I felt that the quality of the meat was slightly better in the Bremia course. Still, next time I would like to go for the King course with Negitan Salt. When I looked at the reservation machine at the entrance as I was leaving, I saw that there were 30 groups waiting, and it was 180 minutes. It's as popular as ever. It's interesting that even though it's such a crowded restaurant, it doesn't have a very high rating on Tabelog. Lol

I still don't like Yakiniku (Grilled meat) King's meat because I feel like I'm being deceived, but my daughter loves it! She's just so greedy. So today we went to Yakiniku (Grilled meat) again. Last time, on a Saturday, we were looking for a place to go, not too early and not too late, while checking the online reservation schedule. However, reservations started coming in like crazy just before 5pm, and in the blink of an eye, a dozen or so groups made reservations just before 5pm, and we finally got a table around 7:30pm. Lol. At 3pm, there's no waiting time, but of course... So today, if there's even one reservation after 4pm, we'll make a reservation right away and leave right away. At 4pm, we got two reservations, so I went right away. It's about a 30-minute drive from my house to King. When we arrived, the machine at the entrance said there were 10 people waiting. We were able to get a seat without waiting. The parking lot was empty, and although it was a little early for dinner, we were able to stroll around town afterwards and spend the time productively. I think I'll try this next time. I'm calling it Mission 16. Lol My daughter, as usual, kept ordering salted pork tongue! The seared pork belly ribs that I thought were delicious last time were, "Huh? This says it's pork belly, but isn't it pork belly after all?" I thought, so I decided to try the seared Sukiyaki belly sukiyaki ribs. Yep. This was more delicious today. See you again.
