井上病院裏の砂賀町の一角に東屋本店と書かれた白い巨大な暖簾を発見。いつできたんだ？ラーメン屋か？と友人と話してると、犬散歩中のお姉さんが「居酒屋よ」と教えてくれました。
早速入店すると店員さんがオススメ日替わりメニューでマグロの中落ちを勧めてきました。中落ち、チャーシュー盛り、野菜サラダ、チーズハムカツを頼み生ビールで乾杯。久々の友人がまあ飲むこと。その後日本酒の水尾をぐいぐい二合づつ。途中自分はレモンサワーやハイボールを挟み調整しましたが酩酊状態に近くなり写メも失念。山芋の磯辺揚げ、肉ポン酢？などを頼んだような。
店はかなりの広い箱。コの字カウンターもあり高崎にないザ大衆酒場っていう感じです。つまみの提供も早くどれもレベルは高いです。サラダには3種類もドレッシングを用意してくれました。今まで不思議になかった店です。店主に聞くと40〜50代の人に気楽に昼から飲んでほしい店として昨年11月にオープンしたとのこと。本日はそれに反して平均年齢20代でしたね。高崎駅西口はOPA効果で賑やかになってきました。こういった店はどんどんできてほしい。また利用しますね^_^
