As the name suggests, space is needed.
A night on a trip. A private room makes it feel special. I started with Kawaba local beer, knowing that the drinks were on the pricey side. There was an appetizer, and a platter of nine different appetizers, and with just that, I was sure I'd be full. Then came a cold bowl of rice, sashimi (Iwana trout from Kawaba!), and meat (Joshu beef, of course!!). The sake was Yuutourian brand. For some reason, it was much cheaper at Stores. I wonder what the price was all about? I didn't notice at the time, and only noticed the next day when I was looking at souvenirs. But it was delicious, so it's okay. For the final dish, we had rice cooked with ingredients. We could choose between wild boar or chicken.

I've been using this hotel more often recently when traveling. It's relaxing, the rooms are spacious, and there's a hot spring. It's also nice that the surroundings are quiet. Dinner was a Japanese-style meal course meal. I had been holding off on the beer since my bath, and then some local Gunma sake. It's more expensive than the souvenir shops, but that's to be expected when you think of it as eating out. The first course was an appetizer and beef tendon soup. This was very satisfying. There was no river fish for sashimi, which was unusual. However, they did serve local dishes such as salt-grilled rock trout and Joshu Wagyu beef, which was satisfying. I had planned to go to the hot spring again that night, but I was too full to move, so I gave up. There was also himokawa udon for breakfast, which also filled me up. Thank you for the meal.
