沼田から日光へ向かう途中にあるお店、蔵を思わせるような白と黒の建物です
近くには「高平の書院」があり大きな五葉松があります。これを目印に行ったらいいでしょう・・
鍵屋といえば以前は「おき山煎餅」と言う瓦煎餅みたいなのが有名でしたが、今はいちご大福の評判がいいようです。
「おき山」とは遠くの山 ずっと向こうの山 と言った意味があるのだそうです。
店に入るとショーケースの中にいちご大福 巡りにはパンがいっぱい並んでいます。パンは天然酵母から作るのだとか・・
店内には先客が数人 やはりいちご大福を買っています。スキー帰りのお客さんかな 格好が・・・・
私は近いので６個だけいただきます。１個１６０円 いちごは見えていなくてピンクの生地で包まれています。それが透明のビニールで簡単に包んであり、生地には粉がたくさん付いています。
家に帰ってがぶりと食いつきます。普段あまり甘いものは食べませんが、これは行けますね ただ注意しないと口の回りが粉だらけになります。
美味しいのであまり苦にはなりませんが、女性は注意が必要でしょう。
鍵屋のパンは美味しいとのことですが、まだ買ったことはありません。今度行ったときには買ってみます。
