やって来たのは下仁田の定食屋【きよしや食堂】。
下仁田名物のかつ煮が評判なお店です。はじめましてです。下仁田には初めて訪れましたが、昔から時が止まった様な雰囲気で謎のノスタルジーを感じました。
この名物かつ煮丼を出している店が10店舗近くあるのですが、11時過ぎで空いている店がひと握り。その中で評価が高いのがこちらのお店でした。

ラーメンと半カツ煮、半ライス、おしんこのお得なセットです。
ラーメンは、完全に想像通りの味です。昔ながらなシンプルな醤油ラーメン。やや縮れた多加水中太麺、チャーシューメンマにワカメナルトネギ。すっごく普通です。まあ、こんな感じだよね、はい。と、友人と顔を見合わせました。
半カツ煮は、半とはいいつつしっかり1枚分のボリュームあり。半ライスも並1杯分くらいあります。カツ煮定食+ラーメンといったボリューム感です。甘めのタレがご飯の進む味付けです。こっちは美味しいなあ。カツ丼にするのが正解だったかな。
なかなかに満腹になりました。なんだかんだコスパは良いですし、良き旅飯になりました。それにしても、郊外はタレカツ丼やソースカツ丼を名物にしているところが多すぎ説。外さないのでいいんですが、やたら多いの何故でしょう？ごちそうさまでした。
