Personally, I love Greek Cuisine. A specialty restaurant recently opened near the Atomic Bomb Museum in Hiroshima, so I went there for dinner (^ー^) Well, to be more precise, this restaurant itself has existed for some time under the mysterious genre of a Greek-style Okonomiyaki restaurant. However, from September 2023, it has been renovated into a restaurant specializing in authentic Greek Cuisine with a foreign chef. By the way, I once stayed in Greece for more than half a month, so I think I am relatively familiar with Greek Cuisine for a Japanese person. But I thought the food at this restaurant was just as delicious as the authentic one. By the way, I wonder if the interior design is based on the famous Greek resort island of Santorini? This time I ate a lot of things with my companion, and I'd like to briefly write down my impressions...・Greek Salad A Greek specialty salad topped with feta cheese (goat's milk). There were way too many tomatoes, but the simple combination of feta cheese and olives was delicious.・Fried Feta Cheese Feta cheese is crumbly, so it's not a melty cheese. It has a very rich taste, so it feels like a snack for sake.・Vegetable Keftedes Keftedes are usually meatballs, but these are fried chopped vegetables. It had something other than vegetables in it, and it was a very delicious fried dish.・Eggplant Shoes I didn't have my favorite moussaka, so I ordered this instead, and it's probably called Melillanes Paputsakya. To put it simply, oven-baked eggplant with meat sauce? The taste is as expected, but the eggplant is creamy and goes well with the meat sauce.・Chicken Yubechi This was the most delicious thing this time. It's like a tomato sauce risotto with rice grain-shaped pasta, and it's delicious with the aroma of Greek herbs. It has a large piece of chicken on it and is very filling.・Pork Kalamaki To put it simply, it's pork Grilled skewer, but there's only one Grilled skewer, so it's not enough to share between two people. It had more potatoes on it and was delicious when eaten with tzatziki sauce.・Octopus Peperentino Spaghetti I have the impression that Greek pasta is soft and fluffy, but does this restaurant cater to Japanese people? It's al dente. The taste is delicious, but it's quite salty. When it comes to alcohol, we also have Ouzo, a Greek specialty. This drink has a fairly high alcohol content (about 40°) and is strong even when mixed with water, and has a unique herbal aroma that may divide people's tastes, but it is an exotic drink. Also, the beer was Italian, not Greek, but they have Greek brands of wine. So, I was very satisfied with both the food and the drinks. Well, I don't think the lunch menu is very Greek...(^_^;), so I think I'll enjoy it more in the evening. Thank you for the meal~
