チキンカツカレー（930円）
ランチで訪問。満席状態なため店前で少し待っていると店員さんから「相席でもいいですか？」との声掛けがありお願いする。
入店して店奥のテーブル席に座りメニューを確認。別店舗ではメンチカツカレーをお願いしたので、こちらではチキンカツカレーを辛口でオーダー。
まずは先行してらっきょうと福神漬けが盛られた小皿が到着。一人ひとりに別盛りで提供しているのはありがたい。暫く待つと色鮮やかなターメリックライスとその上にトッピングされた揚げたてのチキンカツがスタンバイしたプレートと、小鍋に入りグツグツも音を立てながらカレーが到着。
ターメリックライスはプレートの半分に盛られスペースがあるため、そこに小鍋のカレーを一気に注ぎ入れる。コクのある旨味にスパイスの辛味がピリッと効いた味わいで、素材の甘味や酸味も広がる奥深いおいしさが広がる。ライスとの相性も良く旨い。
チキンカツはスプーンを入れると簡単にカットできるほど柔らかく、しかもジューシー。カレーと合わせることでサクサクとしっとりの二つの食感を同時に楽しむことができる。
らっきょうと福神漬けもしっかり食べて完食。
