平日の11時頃訪問し、先客は2名。
イートインかテイクアウトか聞かれ、初めてイートインで食べてみようとカウンターに座る。
三越に入っていることもあり、接客は非常に丁寧。
あなごめし並（2801円）を注文し、ガラス越しの焼き場を見学しながら10分ほどで着丼。
テイクアウトの弁当にはない、アナゴの香ばしい香りが食欲をそそる。
アナゴ自体も弁当よりも圧倒的にふっくらしており、アナゴ出汁で炊いたごはんと非常にマッチして美味しい。
付け合わせの広島菜や奈良漬まちょうど良い箸休めとなる。
これまでウナギの方が好みだったが、このあなごめしを食べて甲乙つけ難くなってしまった。
後客が続々と入店し、昼前で並びができたため、さっさと完食して店を後にした。
