広島の汁なし担々麺を全国区にさせたという、くにまつの本店。レシピを無料公開し、普及に一役買ったらしく、今でもHPにも公開されている。12時半に着いて、待ち客8名程度。10分ほどで店内に入れた。辛さは4段階で選択可能。お店のお勧めという、3辛にしてみる。
いざよーく掻き混ぜてから食べてみると、唐辛子の辛さと花椒の刺激はありつつも、ベースの醤油ダレと鶏ガラスープが粘度のある中細麺によく絡んでいて、そのコクと旨味の方に味覚を奪われる。辛さも痺れもちょうど良く、なるほどお店のお勧めになるわけだ。個人的にあまり汁なし系のお酢による味変は好まないのだが、こちらの通常のお酢、中国の甘みのあるお酢は双方非常に相性が良く、飽きさせない。途中で温泉卵をぶっこむと一気に味がまろやかになるので、醤油ダレと唐辛子をかけてパンチを足すのが吉。最後にライスも入れて完食。
汁なしジャンルの中でも最高レベルの一杯。しかも有料サイドも含めて680円、とてつもないコスパの良さであるのも嬉しい。
